Suite 10 Restaurant and Bar, Evans, Georgia

One of the very nicest things about life is the way we must regularly stop whatever it is we are doing and devote our attention to eating.”
Luciano Pavarotti

We have driven by this restaurant in Evans many times in the past and never noticed it. It is set back off of Washington Road in a small shopping area and wouldn’t be noticed unless you pull into their parking lot or were really looking for it. Joe had heard advertisements for this place and said it sounded good.  We decided that today was the day to give it a try. We pulled in the parking lot and looked at the restaurant which is a beautiful building adorned with white pillars and a seating area outside the front door and a has a balcony right above it. The building had a welcoming appearance so in we went.

When we got inside there was only two other customers sitting up at the bar and it was very quiet. We were a little early for lunch on a Saturday afternoon and pulled up a seat at one of the high top tables near the bar. The bartender called over to us that he would be right there. He was busy setting up the bar. Then the waitress came into work and was rushing around setting things up. She came over after a little while and took our drink order. Joe was happy with the selection of beers they had on tap.  She apologized for being slow and blamed it on a busy night the night before. She was nice enough but just not on her game.

We got our drinks and checked out the menu. They had a good selection of food to choose from. Their lunch menu had many nice looking appetizers including blackened gator tail, fried ravioli, and bacon dusted brussels sprouts, along with many other selections. They have a great choice of sandwiches to choose from including Shrimp Po Boy, French Dip, Meatball sub, and many other choices. And I was impressed by their selection of salads and burgers. They also had some unique drinks to order called Lava Cocktails that smoked and bubbled that looked pretty interesting. I didn’t order one as it was too early for me to have a drink.

When we walked into the restaurant we were impressed by how clean and nice the restaurant looked. The interior of this building had some amazing antiques and focal points to gaze upon. The ambiance and color of the restaurant gave it a nice warm feel even with the high ceilings. We loved the beautiful bar with the comfortable bar stools. There was also a room attached to the bar that is a private room that can be booked if you would like to have a more private get together or meeting.

They had lots of televisions of different sizes to watch and when we were there they had on a couple different football games on to watch. One of the regulars came back and asked us if we wanted to watch any particular game as they would put it on for us. We thought that was very sweet of him and told him thanks for asking but just keep watching what he wanted.

When our food came out, we were very pleased with how good the food was and how it was presented. I ordered the black and bleu salad with steak which was heavenly. It was a large portion and they added bacon with it just adding a little special touch. Joe ordered the Blacken Mahi which was seasoned just perfectly and a nice size portion. The french fries were fresh and hot.

We were very satisfied with our meal but I felt the service could have been a little better. We enjoyed our stop here and still would come back again as we though it was a lovely spot with great food.

Check them out. They are closed on Mondays but are open Tuesday through Thursday from 11 – 10 and Sunday from 11 – 4. They are located at 4446 Washington Road, Suite 10, Evans, Georgia and their phone #706-524-7152.
